Latest in the ongoing Tob Cohen murder case

Mrs Sarah Wairimu the wife to the late Dutch business tycoon Tob Cohen is taking plea today, September 26, she is also the key suspect in Cohen’s murder.

However, Sarah’s plea-taking will not happen today and has been pushed to October 1 2019.

The postponement was to enable the state to clarify whether defence lawyer Philip Murgor is still serving in the capacity of a state prosecutor.

In his defence, Murgor said he had resigned from his role as a state prosecutor on January 19, 2019.

Other issues emerging include demands from the prosecution team who wants Sarah Wairimu indicted for contempt of court over the comments she made during Cohen’s burial despite the gag order.
