A middle-aged man suspected to be mentally ill staged a comedy show on Friday right at the heart of Nairobi city when his suicide attempt backfired. The unidentified man is reported to have earlier engaged police officers in running battles as they tried to calm him after he disturbed public order.
In his scheme to take away his life, the man is seen on a clip that has since gone viral on social media scaling a street-lights post and then letting himself fall amid cheers from the surrounding crowd. His landing appears easy as he quickly rises up and starts to dangerously charge at the crowd.
Details of his next course of action still remain scanty.
