Woman goes berserk rains blows on a murder suspect in court

There was drama on Tuesday at the Eldoret High Court after a woman rained blows and slaps on a man suspected to have killed her daughter.

The woman Beatrice Wanyota ranted as she confronted the suspect Mustafa Idd as he was being led out of court by police officers.

โ€œYou are the one who killed my daughter and I am so angry with you,โ€ said Wanyota.

The attack from Wanyota came as a surprise to the police officers, court officials, lawyers and the members of the public.

Mustafa, 31, is accused of killing 26-year-old Emma Wanyota on September 30 at Moiโ€™s Bridge in Uasin Gishu County. The victim was a college student in Eldoret.

Mustafa has been taken to Moi Referral Hospital for a psychiatric examination before taking the plea.
