Suspect who killed, buried ex-lover’s son released
The court has released Charles Muriuki on a Sh500,000 bond with a surety of similar amount after he pleaded not guilty over a murder charge.
The 45-year-old Muriuki was charged over the murder of his ex-lover’s 12-year-old son and secretly burying the body.
While appearing before Judge Abigail Mshilla, Muriuki denied that on September 26, 2019, he killed the class six pupil and buried the body at Ragati forest.
The case will be mentioned on November 21 while the hearing is scheduled to begin on December 21.
