Precious Talent School closed for 4 days— CS George Magoha

A few hours after the collapsing of a classroom that claimed the life of 7 students and 64 others injured at Precious Talent School in Ng’ando, Dagoretti South constituency, Education Cabinet Secretary George Magoha has ordered that the school be closed.

Speaking from the scene, Magoha said the school will be closed for 4 days as forensic teams and building inspectorate continue to conduct the investigation and from their report, further action will be taken.

“We have consulted and the school will be closed in four days. The school will be inspected for safety and if found unsafe the students will be transferred to the nearest primary school that is 2km from here,” said Magoha.

Magoha visited the site after the incident condoling with the residents as well as shedding light on the next course of action.
