Aisha Jumwa released on Sh1 million bond
Malindi MP Aisha Jumwa and four other people who were arrested on Tuesday over the death of one man in Ganda Ward, Kilifi county have been released on bail.
The four were released on a bond of 1 million each with one surety of a similar amount or each may execute a cash bail of Sh500,000.
The five were also ordered by the court to present themselves before Malindi DCI on October 22, 2019, to assist in investigations of the alleged offences.
The police have also been given the right to charge Jumwa and the other suspects if they have evidence.
Jumwa was arrested after she allegedly stormed into an ODM agents meeting in Ganda ward where one man was shot dead in the scuffle.
