The world of music entertainment came to a standstill after one of its most prized possession announced her official retirement from the trade at the most unexpected time.
Mrs Onika Tanya Maraj, popularly known as Nicki Minaj officially announced that she is leaving the game to concentrate on her family.
“I have decided to retire and have my family. To my fans keep reppin me, do it till the death of me. Love you for life,” she said in a tweet.
The Grammy nominates and multiple MTV video award winner is not the only female artist who has taken to retirement early in her career.
