Obinna visits Oscar Sudi in Kapseret
Obinna visited Oscar Sudi’s residence in Uasin Gishu County for an interview with the controversial politician and close associate of President Ruto.
The mostly cordial interview featured questions from Obinna’s fans that were read to the MP.
Obinna began the interview by likening his plush residence to a 5-star hotel, comments that the MP quickly brushed off.
“Usianze fitina Obinna, najua wewe ni mtu was fitina,” Sudi replied accusing Obinna of inciting Gen Zs against the political class.
Mr. Sudi also dismissed claims that he is uneducated, saying he holds a Diploma.
Amid the typical, ever-recurring sound problems on Obinna’s show, the MP also justified his support of the widely rejected Finance Bill 2024.
Obinna examines Oscar Sudi’s startling 128,000 Dollar watch
The biggest highlight of the late evening interview was the controversy surrounding the wealth and luxurious lifestyles of Kenya Kwanza politicians.
Oscar Sudi criticized Obinna for allegedly influencing cabinet changes after Obinna highlighted Kipchumba Murkomen’s luxury watch, belt, and tie.
Obinna laughed off the accusation and explained that was why he had not asked the Club Timber XO owner about his watch.
Oscar Sudi invited the host to proceed and check out his watch by replying “Si uniulize.”
An excited Obinna sarcastically cautioned the MP that it was a bad idea as it could enrage Kenyans and lead to more changes in government.
Obinna honored the invitation and asked “Hii saa ni pesa ngapi?” seeking to know the wristwatch’s price tag.
Hon. Sudi handed it over to Obinna who did a simple search on Google Lens to establish its price.
Among tens of search results, Obinna read the price as a whooping 128,000 US Dollars which is approximately 17 million Kenya shillings.
Kenyans react to Sudi’s expensive watch
The jaw-dropping price tag has got Kenyans online talking, wondering how a Kenyan MP representing poor people walks around with such an expensive watch.
Hon. Sudi, however, clarified that the watch was a gift from a former foreign Prime Minister. He also retorted that watches are made to be worn by humans, not trees.
