Kenya Red Cross App: KRCS launched the world’s first humanitarian smartphone app

KRCS launched the world’s first humanitarian smartphone app – Kenya Red Cross App – available on both Android and iOS platforms.

The app allows users to receive timely and life-saving information during emergencies.

It also makes it easier for partners and the public to connect, talk and engage with KRCS through simple, easy to use key features including;

1. Emergency services – members can call for an ambulance at the touch of a button.
2. Emergency news and alerts.
3. Membership & Blood donation drives.
4. Information, education and communication (IEC) campaigns; among other key services.
