Here’s why Sailors recorded new Gospel song ‘Jesu Ni Mwathani’

Gengetone group Sailors have opened up on why they decided to release gospel song, ‘Jesu Ni Mwathani.’

While releasing their new video on YouTube the new kids on the block said that, they decided to release their new single as a way of thanking God for the far He has brought them.

“We have seen God’s favor with our songs going global and winning four awards in just six months. This is our song of thanksgiving and praise. God ametutoa far na ni far atatupeleka,” part of the post read.

They went on to encourage youths out there to keep on fighting and working hard for their dreams, at the same time also thanking their fans for always supporting and believing in them.

Aminia in your life as well! Jesu Ni Mwathani. It is all for the hustlers out there trying to make something out of their lives. Keep the faith and rejoice in the Lord always. Your time is coming.

This year the gengetone group has ended the year on a high. They bagged; New Wave of the Year, Best Group of the Year,  Viewer’s Choice of the Year and Best Collaboration of the Year, in the just concluded Pulse Music Video Awards.
