Former MP Elizabeth Ongoro surrenders to EACC
The Ethics and Anti Corruption Commission (EACC) has on Thursday October 31, received former Kasarani MP Elizabeth Ongoro, who presented herself after being summoned over alleged graft of Sh48 million when she was the area MP.
Currently, the EACC is probing the former lawmaker over an alleged ghost project that happened under the NG-CDF for the construction of a school.
The EACC had summoned Ongoro alongside other 18 suspects including his husband.
According to EACC, the school does not exist despite the fact that payments for its construction had already been paid.
