Equity Bank has more to celebrate after their group managing director James Mwangi was shortlisted as one of the top 50 innovators.
The honorary list was published by Bloomberg Business Week and keeps Mwangi among celebrated businessmen and women such as Warner Media Chairman Jeff Zucker and singer turned business mogul Rihanna.
Mwangi said he was honoured to be in a list of leaders who have had a positive impact on the global business platform.
“I am honoured to be part of this incredible group of people, who are changing the world in significant ways and driving their important messages home, with commitment and passion,” said Dr. Mwangi.
“Our vision is to be the champion of the socio-economic prosperity of the people of Africa by providing the capacity, tools and technologies to do so,” he added.
This is not the first time Mwangi has been listed for a global accolade he has previously garnered a variety of them due to his contribution to the financial services sector.
