CS Joe Mucheru replaces dead KFCB appointee after an online uproar
ICT Cabinet Secretary Joe Mucheru has responded over the controversial appointment of the late Robert Kochale as a board member of the Kenya Film Classification Board.
Mucheru has replaced Kochalle with his wife Charity after Kenyans questioned the appointment of a dead man in a state corporation.

The KFCB boss Ezekiel Mutua came to the defence of the CS but the damage had already been done as Kenyans demonstrated their anger online.
“Small issue being blown out of proportion. The Board presented the notification to the ministry for replacement and inadvertently he was reappointed. It was not CS Mucheru’s mistake at all as the conversation started when KFCB was under the Ministry of Sports and Culture,” said Mutua.
