Blow to Wilson Sossion as TSC deregisters him again
The Secretary-General of the Kenya National Union of Teachers Mr Wilson Sossion is no longer a teacher.
Sossion’s new fate comes in after the Teachers Service Commission (TSC) register him as a teacher, TASC chief executive Nancy Macharia signed the notice.
This is not the first time the commission has sent out a notice to deregister the trade unionist-cum-politician.
On July 30, 2019. TSC deregistered Sossion who immediately dismissed the move as inconsequential.
“The deregistration changes nothing,” said Mr Sossion. He cited Article 34 (A) of the Labour Relations Act, saying the termination of his contract did not affect his rights as a union official.
